The Lightsafe Agent
Lightsafe has two core elements: the Platform and the Agent.
The Agent is our silent worker, installed on each machine for backup. Whether it's a Hyper-V host or a virtual machine, the Agent seamlessly syncs with the Platform.
It's been designed specifically for Managed Service Providers - with RMM integration, billing, reporting, logging and auditing in mind. So, for example, it's a breeze to roll the Agent across hundreds of machines at the click of a script.
Setting up is straightforward: either roll-out to networks via RMM script, or on an individual basis:
- Download and initiate the free Agent software
- Input the Profile credentials from the Platform
- Set an encryption key
- Your machine pops up on the Platform, ready for backup
Remember: We prioritize your data's security, with immutable copies held for the retention period you specify. We don't store your encryption key - so always keep it in a safe location!
